1. Disclaimer for all crate engines:
We are the best engine builders in the world, but have no control over the use of our products after they leave our hands. You WILL be required to sign and have notorized a liability waiver before your new engine is delivered. From their on out, your safety is your own responsibility. We are NOT your mother, your bookie, your dealer, your shrink or your pimp. We sell these motors only to those only over the age of 18. At that point, you are an adult capable of dealing with your own shit.

2. A word of advice about chosing a crate motor......shop with your brain, not your ego or testicles. The LOWEST horsepower motor we offer.."Venomous" makes in the range of 600 horse power. That will turn your average Mustang into a land based missle. Please always remember, upgrades only START with the motor. You will need substansial upgrades to the chassis and remainder of the drive line to handle the extra stress brought on by the horse power.

Please also remember, Factory production Brakes were designed to be quickly and cheaply made on a mass production scale. They were meant to stop your 185 horse power car from the speed of 55 mph within federal standards.  Even with our most modest motor.......factory brakes are like peeing on a forest fire. Remember, the ultimate high performance item is your brain.

Bike Crate motors:

For Bikes, we only offer one complete moter "Grave digger". It is based on Harley Arciticture but with substansial power and longgevity up grades.

These Engines are built exclusiveily for Jail Bait Cycles by the world famous engine builders D and D racing in San Fransico, CA., using only the best parts, and all high performance componets come from none other that Dave Mackie Engineering, in Ventura, CA. If you would like to make your engine more affordable, please feel free to take a slow boat to china, buy the shit the sell made from recycled beer cans. Just don't talk to us about it.

The Basic Grave digger Long Block Starts at 7,999.99, plus freight. Intake, carb and Exhaust are not included, but avaliable from us installed or un-installed, at an additional charge.
From there, there are many options to choose from....Billett lifter blocks, Velvatouch lifters, Powder coated, chrome or billett Rocker boxes, as well as "Split" Rocker boxes.
Numerous other billett dress up, as well as additional  performance parts are avaliable. Please remember the closest "Quality" will ever get to "Cheap" is in the dictionary.

Auto crate moters:

1. "Venomous"

Displacing 331 cubic inches, Venomous is based only on hand selected cores, all are sconic tested to have a MIMINUM of .200" thickness AFTER over bore. From this point the block decks are squared, The frist .020" of an inch is remived with a boring bar, and the last .010" is honed to assure perfect cylinder Roundness and improve ring seal. All Cylinder enlarginging operations are always done utilizing torque plates. Our engines are hand assembled, not builton an assembly line by an hourly wage worker using a computerized torque wrench which is reffrenced God knows how often, if ever.

Here are some key features of the short block:
  1. Eagle forged 4340 Steel Crankshaft, Internal Balance.
  2. Eagle Forged 4340 Steel "H" beam connecting rods with 7/16 A.R.P. cap screws.
  3. Forged pistons
  4. Total seal piston, hand filed to fit.
  5. High performance rod and main bearing bolts
  6. Main Cap re-inforcing girdle with ARP bolts.
  7. Dura bond Cam Bearings and freeze plugs.

We offer a full range of aluminum heads, with prices  staarting at only $700.00/set, all the way up to cnc ported AFR heads starting at $2,500/set, assembled.

Please contact us regarding your cam selection and help us pick the one that is right for you. Please accept the fact that a .740 lift cam WILL NOT enlarge your penis. It will produce an unbearable choppy idle, and will not produce sufficent vacum for power accessories. And, after all, what are you going to do? Photo Enlarge your cam spec card and tape it to your window?

Again, let us help you select a cam based on your real world needs, with a usable power band you will be much happier with.

Also, a word about displacement....it seems to be the popular fad to stroke these motors to 347 cubic inches. Bad idea. To acheive this displacement, the piston must travel very low in the cylinder bore on the down stroke and will result in oil burning, plug fouling, and loss of compression.

Our 331 inch engine has a much more favorable "Rod Ratio". This allows the rod to remain more directly centered under the piston throughout it's range of travel. Or, for those of you who never woke up in high school psyscics class ( I dont blame you), you can produce more force by pushing straight down on an object than pushing it from an angle.

Please also keep in mind, these are only crate moters we stock...but we can and will build any engine combo you desire. Mild to over the top wild......we can make it happen.

2. Predator
This motor is based on the  DOHC 4.6 litre Aluminum Block,  With Steel Crankshaft and Connecting Rods. The Compression ratio is set at 8:1, as to accomodate the boost of the supercharger.  4 valve "Tumble port " Cylinder heads, hand ported and polished in house at Jail Bait Cycles and Rods. Utilizing a twin screw supercharger, this engine will produce 600 horse power on 93 Octane pump gas.

Here is the beauty of this motor. It uses a stand  alone engine management computer, and comes with several different size pulleys for the super charger to increase boost in seconds. You can take it from a "Mild" 600 horsepower to a ground pounding, race fuel only engine in about 1 hour.

The stand-alone management system makes retro fits no problem. How about a 900 horse power 1932 ford Street Rod?

This engine is only avaliable in long block form, and Includes the supersharger and all accessories (Except an a/c compressor). There are numerous apperance upgrades for this motor avaliable, made in house at Jail Bait.

3. The Mighty War Snake.

Our top of the line crate moter, Hand assembelled by "Shocker" (Mark Bell) here at Jail Bait.
This monster comes complete...Ready to drop in and stain your tighty whitties.

This engine comes  as a Complete package. A new, heavy duty Tubular K member is provided to give clearerence for inter cooler piping. Direct port fogger Nitrous syatem included. water/methonal injection system included. This is a true turn key engine........however please raelise that the car itself will require SUBSTANSIAL modifaction to take this level of power.

Engine dyno figures easily exceed 2,000 horse power.

Needless to say, a great deal of time, expense, work and pain have gone into this project.
Actually Dyno charts and engine specs revealed only to qualiffied buyers able to prove their financial abillity to make such a purchase.

Crate motor warrenty: Due to their very nature, our crate motors are warrentied for 12 monthes/12,000 miles against defects in material and workmanship ONLY. We will not be responsible for damage caused by errors in tuning, modifactions to our products, mis use or abse, acts of God or Satan. You are buying an ultra high performance motor. Want an all inclusive warrenty? Go buy a new Huyndia or some other gay go-cart.

Bikes:

1.We can build the bike of your dreams...anything your heart can desire and your visa card can cover. However, we DO NOT allow any of our custom bikes to be photographed prior to delivert to the customer. We found out the hard way that the quickest way to get your ideas ripped off. copied, chromed, and imported is to post pics on the net, or in magazines.

While Many of our bikes and other projects have been featured in magazines, that decision is made by the customer. You pay, you say.

We do offer one production bike...the "DME" or Death Made Easy, which is exactly what will happen when you stop respecting this, or any other motorcycle.
At this writing, we just sold our last complete bike, so we only have pictures of the next one in the "Mock up" stage. There are many options on this bike, unlimited choices on wheels, paint, tin work, motors, etc.  Prices for the DME start at 24,999. with the sky being the limit on options.

Our custom bikes are hand built, one at a time, here in house. We do have the very latest frame jig, so the bike can even be built especially for nyour height and weight.

Custom Bike prices start at 29,900......and from there the only limit is your imagination, and bank account. By the way, have you priced a new Harley lately? by the time you buy all the add on dealership chrome and accessories to complete your membership in the "Me too" club......often times you could have a one of a kind custom cheaper.

We spend our time building the best of the best Motor cycles and automobiles. We simply have no time to answer stupid questions from the general public, as well as security issues given our investment in quality tools.

How long is your waiting list?  For the DME bike, 4 to 6 weeks. For custom work, please realize quality takes time. Our current custom wait peroid is about 4 months.
