We build the engines to order, and you can order just the motor, or have your car converted...or we have a stock of mustangs to pick from if you don't have one...or we can locate one for you...it is all up to you.

Important:

1. Disclaimer for all crate engines:
Street racing is stupid, illegal, and dangerous. Jail Bait Cycles and Rods, L.L.C. does NOT condone, promote, or participate in any form of Racing on Public Roadways.
We are the best engine builders in the world, but have no control over the use of our products after they leave our hands. You WILL be required to sign and have notorized a liability waiver before your new engine is delivered. From their on out, your safety is your own responsibility. We are NOT your mother, your bookie, your dealer, your shrink or your pimp. We sell these motors only to those only over the age of 18. At that point, you are an adult capable of dealing with your own shit.

2. A word of advice about chosing a crate motor......shop with your brain, not your ego or testicles. The LOWEST horsepower motor we offer.."Venomous" makes in the range of 600 horse power. That will turn your average Mustang into a land based missle. Please always remember, upgrades only START with the motor. You will need substansial upgrades to the chassis and remainder of the drive line to handle the extra stress brought on by the horse power.

Please also remember, Factory production Brakes were designed to be quickly and cheaply made on a mass production scale. They were meant to stop your 185 horse power car from the speed of 55 mph within federal standards. Even with our most modest motor.......factory brakes are like peeing on a forest fire. Remember, the ultimate high performance item is your brain.

Crate motor warranty: Due to their very nature, our crate motors are warranted for 12 months/12,000 miles against defects in material and workmanship ONLY. We will not be responsible for damage caused by errors in tuning, modifications to our products, misuse or abuse, acts of God or Satan. You are buying an ultra high performance motor. Want an all inclusive warranty? Go buy a new Hyundai or some other gay go cart.

Shipping and Return Policies

Regular items are shipped within 3 days. Special order items will vary and will be discussed.

Returns and exchange policy: Merchandise can be returned for full credit only during the first 30 days and if the need to return the item was due to an error on our part.

We do not give "Cash" refunds, only store credit. In the event an item is back-ordered, we will give you the option within 10 days to receive a full refund and cancel your order.

We will be Glad to exchange merchandise for a like kind item within the first thirty days, provided the merchandise is returned to us in new condition.

Crate engines are entirely different. Our policy on our crate motors is given in the information section of that respective item.

Any othr returns will be accepted solely at our discretion, and are subject to a 20 % re-stock charge.
